Description

Silence can say so much. Tender feelings, eternal love, worry, admiration, an avalanche of emotions in one quick peek through the door. Silent, reverent, benevolent contemplation of a new born life – is the subject of this artwork. Who hasn’t experienced that, simply can not say they are whole. The inspiration came from the Russian Orthodox tradition of praying to the icon of the Mother of God, which helps to overcome sadness. They pray at once in the hope of getting rid of illnesses, it makes souls feel better. In my interpretation, any mother is a saint and a guarding angel of a new born life.

This artwork is created with acrylic paints on canvas. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and of excellent quality. Sides are painted, framing is not required and the artwork is ready to hang. A layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.

The painting is framed. The frame is wooden 4cm wide.  The painting will be safely packed in a cardboard box and dispatched within 14 working days from Germany.
